  1. Nominees for the 47th annual Grammy awards were announced Tuesday, Dec. 7, and CMT Insider was on hand for all the excitement. We'll have the inside scoop on this year's list and give fans a complete rundown of country's top nominees. We'll also chat with country superstar Tim McGraw to get his reaction to receiving two nominations. His single "Live Like You Were Dying" also picked up two nods including the prestigious song of the year. The awards will be handed out at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 13, 2005. Country star Alan Jackson is back this week as we bring fans part two of our three part series. Jackson recently invited to his home to talk about his life and career, and in this installment he talks about being a songwriter. Amy Grant and Vince Gill are sharing the holiday spirit across the country with their current Christmas tour, but they are making the season a bit happier for the troops and their families with a special visit to San Antonio, Texas. We'll be on hand to give fans a front row seat to the celebration. Also on tap for this episode: we'll visit with Jamie O'Neal to find out how she pampers her beloved dog Griffin; look at some great holiday gifts; spotlight Joe Nichols new Christmas CD and the DVD release of the first season of Reba; and shop for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree with singer Jimmy Wayne.
