With superstars riding even higher and newcomers bursting onto the scene, country music enjoyed record-breaking success throughout the year. In this special edition of CMT Insider we'll relive the best moments and spotlight the highlights. From the year's hottest concert tours to country artists' presence in some of the Nation's biggest events, including the Presidential election and the World Series. One of country's hottest superstars Kenny Chesney celebrated his most prominent year as a singer yet. He topped the singles and album charts, and picked up his first-ever entertainer of the year award. We'll look back at his big moments of 2004, including his hot concert tour that ranked near the top of the money list for country artists. Newcomer Gretchen Wilson burst onto the country music horizon like dynamite. She earned her first No. 1 single, her first No. 1 album and picked up her first awards. She became a fan favorite from the first note of "Redneck Woman" and hasn't looked back. We'll shine the spotlight on country's hottest new star and relive the excitement surrounding her success. Host Katie Cook sat down with some of country's biggest names this year, including Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Shania Twain and Hall of Fame member Dolly Parton.
