Full Biography

  1. Judy Trammell is choreographer of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She came to the organization as assistant choreographer in March 1984 and assumed the responsibility of full-time choreographer in 1991. Her duties include choreographing and producing halftime extravaganzas and routines for sideline and pregame performances at the Dallas Cowboys home games, as well as varied stage routines for the multi-talented group of cheerleaders who make up the distinguished well-traveled show group and the DCC's musical variety show. Trammell brought to the cheerleaders 16 years of dance experience with most dedicated training in the areas of jazz, tap, drill team and pompom. Also of great significance is the expertise she gained as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader for four years, three of which she acted as show group member and group leader. Credits include choreography for nationally televised telethons -- Jerry Lewis and Variety Club; the NFL Monday Night Football; Salute to Lady Liberty television special; nationally televised Thanksgiving halftime extravaganzas for Reba McEntire and Randy Travis; MC Hammer's Too Legit to Quit; Toby Keith's Should've Been a Cowboy and Little Texas' God Blessed Texas music videos; Phil Donahue, Geraldo Rivera and Montel Williams' syndicated talk shows; Harry and the Hendersons situation comedy; Oak Ridge Boys benefit concerts; Las Vegas tribute to Sammy Davis Jr.; Country Music Awards; Nashville Palace; DOD and USO tours; Miss Texas Pageant; corporate shows and musical productions for pageants and area high schools. Trammell became the second former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader to join the organization in an administrative capacity as she made the transition from former player to coach during the '84-85 football season.
