I have a cat, Chloe Bear, who is a tortoise-shell mix that we rescued from a shelter. I also have a dog, Daisy Mae, who is a yellow lab and loves to play with her toy football.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM VACATION DESTINATION?
I would love to go to Brazil someday. The beaches are absolutely breathtaking.

I am a nerd. I almost majored in mathematics when I was in college.

I am most proud of ... the fact that I have followed my heart, chased my dreams and have stayed true to myself throughout the whole process. Graduating from college with honors is also an accomplishment I am very proud of.

WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I grew up dancing and competing at a studio and have experience with numerous styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip-hop. In high school I was a four -year member of our Varsity Pom Squad, and I was a captain my senior year. In college I was a professional NBA dancer for three years for the Indiana Pacers. I have also taught dance classes and choreographed numerous routines over the years.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?
I wanted to shoot for the stars. DCC has been a goal of mine for a long time, and I still have to pinch myself every day so I know I'm not dreaming. I have so much respect and admiration for this organization, and it is such an honor to be a part of it.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?
Go for it. Don't let your doubts or fears hold you back. Surround yourself with people who love and support you, and figure out a way to make yourself stand out at auditions. Have peace of mind knowing that what's meant to be will work itself out, and most importantly, let your light shine.
