WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
I have taken dance since I was 5 years old. I took jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and tap while growing up. I was on my high school drill team for three years, where I was Captain my senior year. During college I served as Captain and Co-Captain of the University of North Texas Dancers. We performed at pep rallies, football games and basketball games.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?
Growing up as a dancer, I always looked up to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. During high school I dreamed of becoming a DCC, but was not old enough to audition out of high school. I decided to audition for the North Texas Dancers where my director, Jennifer Jones Cloutier, was a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Our team had a very similar style to the DCC, and I was able to learn so much my three years dancing under her. After serving as Captain my third year, I knew I was ready to take a leap of faith and audition to be one of America's Sweethearts.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?
Work hard, never give up and stay positive. Start taking dance classes now to expose yourself to new styles and teachers and learn something new from everyone you meet.
