The answers to these and other first queries can be found on CMT 40 Greatest Firsts, a two-hour countdown special listing the greatest (or at least entertaining) achievements in country music. Firsts is hosted by Joan of Arcadia star Jason Ritter. The 25-year-old actor is son of TV star John Ritter and grandson of the legendary Tex Ritter (first country album). Firsts features rare historical photos and footage and interviews with historians, journalists and artists, including LeAnn Rimes and Merle Haggard.
