You've seen Alecia Davis covering the latest hot topics and interviewing Hollywood's biggest stars on EXTRA, E! News Live,
ABC Family's XYZ at the Movies and CMT. She's been able to guide you through the "I do's and I dont's" of wedding planning
on TLC's hit series For Better or For Worse. And whether it's beat boxing with Kobe Bryant, licking Paul Rudd's hand, modeling
Kristen Davis' fashions or having girl talk with Meg Ryan or dating info from Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl, she keeps
you connected with all your favorite celebrities.
Davis can currently be seen on the TV Guide Network, hosting shows like Close Up (Dolly Parton), What's on DVD, The Sexy Stars
of Country Music, movie specials and Hollywood 411. She's covered the red carpet at award shows like the Golden Globes, the
Grammys, the CMAs, the Academy Awards, ACMs, many movie premieres and is also currently back on CMT co-hosting CMT #1 Music
& a Movie.
Growing up in Nashville, Davis got her start by hosting CMT's popular show Hit Trip, where she conducted interviews and went
on adventurous journeys with celebrities, like riding motorcycles with Toby Keith, touring with Faith Hill, hanging 10 with
Sara Evans and exploring the Florida Keys with Kenny Chesney.
She co-hosted ACM's Red Carpet Live Special and was a presenter for the Academy of Country Music on CBS. She also hosted a
variety of other specials for CMT. She's been featured in numerous commercials, print ads and music videos for artists such
as Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Trace Adkins and the Mavericks and featured on the cover of their Music for All Occasions
album.
Thanks to her four older brothers, Davis is adventurous and athletic. She joined members of the Tennessee Titans at the annual
celebrity softball tournament benefiting City of Hope. She also hosted the Junior Olympics on PBS. Desiring to play professional
volleyball, life dramatically changed when she won a national modeling competition.
At the age of 15, Davis booked jobs in Italy, France, Germany and Spain and traveled abroad modeling for international magazines
and top designer fashion shows. Modeling and university studies in broadcast journalism led to hosting and acting jobs. "I'm
so grateful for those opportunities. I've met incredible people, (some who've become dear friends), traveled to amazing places
and experienced a journey that I otherwise would've never known."
She has worked as a contributing editor for Country Weekly magazine covering the entertainment field as well as fashions on
the red carpet. Her cover story on Keith Urban was a newsstand bestseller.
