Move over Bo and Luke. There's a new duo causing a stir in Hazzard County ... and it's those no good Warren boys. This freewheeling, tire-screeching episode finds Brad, Brett and Marty sneaking out of an important studio session to escape on a wild road trip to DukesFest 2005.
With the deadline fast approaching on their new Barely Famous Hits album, the record label orders the guys to finish the final song in two days, and the boys do the only logical thing -- they head to DukesFest. On their arrival in Bristol, Tenn., the boys meet up with Cooter (Ben Jones), Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) and Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane (James Best) and concoct a wild plan to transform a junkyard Cadillac into a working General Lee and challenge John Schneider to a drag race in his original Dukes of
Hazzard charger.
With 10 gallons of orange housepaint, and a helping hand from the auto team that built the original General Lee, the guys create their own Frankenstein variation of the famous 01 car. With "Boss Hogg" Marty presiding as racemaster, they punch the pedal to the floor in a crazy, high-speed race against Bo Duke himself -- with the winner taking the pink slip of the other car!
After the dust settles, the boys find themselves in yet another race -- to get back to Nashville and finish the song before the record executive discovers they've been missing. Will those crazy Warren Brothers emerge victorious and pull off yet another last minute miracle just like the Duke boys?
