about the episode

It's a hectic week for the "Barely Famous" Warren Brothers as they prepare once again for Nashville's annual Country Radio Seminar (aka "C.R.S."). This national gathering of radio station executives and industry pros is the one big opportunity artists have to shake the right hands and impress the people with the power to play their records. The boys know this star-studded event could literally launch their career into orbit -- or sink it like the Titanic.

As the C.R.S. event begins, the boys have just been signed to BNA Records for the third time, and the executives are more than a little nervous about the way the guys might behave during the week. With the guys scheduled to act as hosts for the all-important RCA/ BNA Boat Show, the label executive calls them to the office for a last minute prep on what not to say and do this time around. But things are never that simple when it comes to the Warren Brothers. Realizing the evening of the boat show is also Brett's birthday, the guys decide to liven things up a bit by creating a bet involving all the major celebrities who are going to be onboard.

The bet is simple, but challenging. Sometime before the night is over, Brett needs to convince five major celebrities with gold or platinum records to sing "Happy Birthday" to him on camera. If he's successful, Marty has to pay the price by leaping head first into a freezing pond from the top of a tractor at a nearby farm. But if Brett loses, he has to jump from the deck of the steamboat as the boat show guests look on. With the bet firmly in place, the guys make their blitz on C.R.S., pressing the flesh with all the bigwigs while trying not to give in to their naughtier impulses.

Along the way, they run into a who's who of Nashville stars -- from Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn to Sara Evans and Dierks Bentley. But as they board the steamship General Jackson to host the big RCA show, will Brett be able to enlist enough of these celebrity friends to save him from the humiliation of a leap from the deck of the party? Or will poor Marty lose yet another bet with Brett and be forced to do a belly flop into the 26 degree waters of the nearby pond? Tune in and see the hilarious outcome for yourself.
