Nichols, Evans to Co-Host Concert

Joe Nichols and Sara Evans will co-host one of the biggest concerts of summer as CMT welcomes country music fans worldwide to Nashville on the eve of CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair. Also added to the evening's spectacular lineup are Josh Turner, Julie Roberts, Buddy Jewell and the Del McCoury Band. An array of stars will perform the Top 12 songs from CMT's romantic list of 100 Greatest Love Songs. The musical love fest will take place at Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center on Wednesday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. and will be taped for telecast as part of the remarkable six-hour special, CMT 100 Greatest Love Songs, debuting on Sunday, June 13 at 4 p.m. ET/PT. Concertgoers will experience the Top 12 songs performed live by Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Brad Paisley, Lee Ann Womack, Jewell, Roberts, Lonestar, Dierks Bentley with the Del McCoury Band, Josh Turner and co-hosts Evans and Nichols. The Mavericks' frontman Raul Malo will serve as the evening's music director.

CMT 100 Greatest Love Songs celebrates the best love songs of all time with six enticing hours of music and interviews with celebrities and alluring personalities. It will showcase these amazing songs with a documentary counting down from numbers 100 through 13 and will climax with a concert counting down the Top 12 songs with performances by some of country's biggest and best-loved artists.

The documentary portion of the six-hour special includes interviews with celebrities from all genres talking about their favorite love songs including Alison Krauss, Dr. Maya Angelou, Evans, John Corbett (Sex in the City), Rogers, Robert Duvall, LeAnn Rimes, Amy Davidson (8 Simple Rules), Dr. Ruth, Gary Valentine (King of Queens), Greg Vaughn (General Hospital), Nichols, Terri Clark, Turner, Womack, McKenzie Westmore (Passions), Tracy Byrd, Robert Reynolds, Robert David Hall (CSI), Peter Reckell (Days of Our Lives), Pat Green, Pam Tillis, Montgomery Gentry, Mark Wills, Juice Newton, Roberts, Kathy Mattea, Anthony Clark (Yes Dear) and Ben Harper among others.
