SEASON 3 Teen Mom is a spin-off of the MTV documentary series, 16 & Pregnant. Season 3 continues tracking the stories of Maci, Farrah, Amber and Catelynn as they face the intense challenges of their first few years of motherhood. Each episode interweaves their stories as they navigate the bumpy terrain of adolescence, growing pains, and coming of age -- all while facing the responsibility of being a young mother. The series offers a unique look into the wide variety of issues young mothers can face: marriage, relationships, family support, or lack thereof, adoption, finances, rumors among the community, graduating high school, starting college, getting (or losing) a job and the daunting and exciting step of moving out of the nest to create their own families. Faced with incredibly adult responsibilities, these young moms struggle to pursue their childhood dreams and are often forced to sacrifice their teenage years, their high school experience and their former ideas of what their lives would be. But there is optimism among them. They have the dedication to make their lives work. Though nearly children themselves, they have a drive to do as they see fit and try to provide the best for their babies.
