Hey, this is the FOURTH TIM I'm trying to post!000a000a Would it be too much to ask commercial country radio to declare an indefinite moratorium on damnable ditties about pick-up trucks and beer, Taylor Swift's unnaturally extended adolescence (she's done fine work, but at least as often is beyond ridiculous), and Brantley&Aldean's quasi-hairspray metal in Affliction shirt and facial scraggle accouterments and give some spins to an under-heralded vet such as Peacock? I'm not holding my breath on that request, but I thank the Lord that there are those of us who recognize artistically sincere people who attempt a fresh take on country (or is it Americana?;or is Americana merely country that doesn't play to the lowest common denominator nor takes it audience for granted?!) and quality eventually finds its own audience.
