Leave Luke alone, he did a much better job than some. Don't forget how Roseanne Barr screamed, scratched her crotch, and spit. Even Christina Aguilera made a mess out of the anthem. Whitney Houston pre-recorded the anthem weeks earlier and lip sync it. I call that cheating. You were fantastic Luke. We all love you! <3

The anthem is not a hard song. Kids sing it all the time in school auditoriums. Luke Bryan is a professional singer, so the crowd count shouldn't even matter here. I never got the argument "let's see you do it" or "I'd forget the words too" - we're not professional singers, of course we couldn't do what he does. That doesn't mean we can't say it was a bad performance. It's not wrong to give a negative review, it's a valid opinion.
I would probably forget the words to ecspecialy in front of a crowd like that dont let them let u down you did a great job. :)
I got news for those criticizing Luke on that performance.. Let any of you get in front of that many people and perform Mary Had A Little Lamb and I bet most of us would forget the words too. It's not easy performing in front of large crowds. You rock Luke! Helluva job
