This song reminds me of my dad. I know he did not have to let go of me i will miss my dad for the rest of my life. And think about him everyday. I know i would not be the person i am today because of him. If it was not for him teaching me new stuff and i will love him for doing that. I miss u.
THE DAY THIS SONG FIRST WENT ON THE RADIO WAS THE SAME NIGHT MY GRANDFATHER PASSED AWAY. AND THE SONG IS PRETTY MUCH WORD FOR WORD THE LIFE MY MOM AND GRANDFATHER HAD. WHEN HE WAS DYING MY MOM WAS AT HIS BED SIDE EVERYDAY. I REMEMBER HEARING STORIES OF HER WEDDING DAY. AND FIRST LEARNING HOW TO RIDE A BIKE. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST SONG I'VE EVER HEARD.
