I never think the videos of Gary's songs do him justice. Smoke Rings in the Dark in particular. That song has the most haunting melody and lyrics I have ever heard. Great songwriting and delivery.

Just wanted to say that sad songs are the best kind. And that the Today song in a way fits the same reason for the Best I Ever Had song. In the kinda way that might make another song out of. Take away the marriage part and listen to blaine larson. I'm sorry that hapened to him I know the feeling.
Just had the pleasure of meeting Gary backstage @ his concert in Durham, NC on March 12. He is an amazing performer & songwriter. His show was the BEST of many I have attended. Thanks for signing my KY hat (& HELL NO..you wont see that hat on Ebay). His band ROCKS also..esp. David Steele. I hope to attend his concert in Owensboro, KY........Rusty Stone from Henderson, KY......& also a BIG THANKS to Cameron for the backstage passes..YOU ROCK DUDE...God Speed!!!!
i have to admit its tough and rocky but this song just blows me away. Gary you look so great on those docks and by the water, what more can a girl ask for. if everything went picture perfect, it wouldn't make any sense, sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
