READ;;READ;;READ;; Acually most COUNTRY artist write/edit there own songs on the ablum but most SINGLES is not written by that artist.I agree Jewl is just amazing and has been idenifyed for many types of music. But they all started getting technical with whats country when a man got kicked out of the Grand Ole Opry for having a drummer in his band so its been crazy. Otherwise I just love this song. But all that matters if YOU like the song! Honestly the fued has crushed many hopeing to singers dream. they didnt fit the music they liked and it happens alot but, there trying to work that out So keep your fingers crossed we get that problem fixed.

She is really great, no matter what genre of music anyone wants to fit Jewel, she will be one of the best. Music break the boundary of musical genres and the best you can do is to like it or not, to love a song or not, or to love an artist or not. I choose to love Jewel and her music.
Jewel SHOULD be a best-selling country singer. Sure, this catchy, upbeat song is pop, as befits the general theme of and mood of the "Valentine's Day"movie, but Jewel's "Perfectly Clear" is as good as a Country album as you'll find in years. She can sing and write with the very best women in Country, and maybe better. Oh, and if you like a little rock with your Country, check out "This Way" -- amazing album!
Finally!!! Jewel has always been country and had she been discovered today instead of 1995, she would be a best selling country singer! I am so glad she is showing that true artists can do several genres of music! Plus, unlike most...she writes ALL of her songs!
