My daddy went through the same thing the guy here went through he was a football player in high school and he was 18 years old and i am now 18 years old and pretty much living on my own barly seeing my dad i love him alot he means everything to me and when i listen to this song all i can think about is him it makes me wanna cry sometimes and knowing that he put his whole life on hold for me means everything to me i was his first daughter and will always be a daddys girl :)
My dad sent this to me a little while ago. He told me this described exactly what he was feeling. It's really the same sort of situation, he thought it was a total mistake to have a child, thought he gave up on his dreams to help raise me. As time went on he learnt to love me and he's really dreading sending me off to university next year. I'll only be seventeen. Anyways, I love my dad more then words can express, I love him more then he will every love anyone in his life. He'll never know how much I strive for his affection. I hope that he doesn't see me as a mistake anymore. I love you daddy. <3

I can relate with this video - As a dad, from the moment I held Amanda at her birth (front & center at the delivery) to all the times watching my daughter grow up, watching her take her first steps to riding her bike, the boyfriends and BFF's, the ups and downs, the crying and the laughter. Then when she left for Hawaii, it seemed all those times walked out with her. It hits you hard when someone that close leaves home. Anytime I want a good cry, I just listen to this song. - thanks for the video Kenny :-)
