I found it interesting that a lot of people were insinuating that LeAnn wasn't very sincere in this song and even went as far as to say that she shouldn't smile because of the content of the song. Recently, I read an interview of LeAnn's where she talked about the video and song. She stated that through her work with troubled teen and homeless individuals in general, they echoed the same message over and over. That message stated that the most insulting thing people can do is avoid looking them in the eye. They are people just as the rest of us; people with needs, just a different sort of need. So think about that before you throw out stones. Follow the example set here. Again, tremendous song.

happy that this video is getting this exporsure, we need more lke this instead of the terrible fishing video that has doing things to words that should not be done, country music should not support things like this.
Gee people, judge much? Look beyond who is singing the song and comprehend the message behind it. Perhaps you LeAnn haters out there could use a little forgiveness yourselves. Give it a try and see if it comes back to you. This song is absolutely spectacular. Every word is true....EVERY WORD IS TRUE. For God's sake put your pettiness aside and be a contributing factor to the human race. Love one another; not tear them down.
I absolutely love LeAnn's song "Give". I saw the video for the first time today and was glued to the TV. That girl has some pipes on her. She is still an awesome singer, no matter what everyone says about her personal life. I'm happy for her & Eddie!!! Congrats guys!!!

My daughter just told me LeAnn bought a $1,600 pair of shoes while at a fashion show in New York. She must feel just terrrible about those homeless children in Chicago.
radio has a playlist that they go by and do not playanything else besides what they are told to play each section of the states have a board that tells the disc jockey's what to play, good luck to leeann, some singers are always over looked because of this system.
This message is Leann's gift to God. Those who come here angry and mean are hurting something fierce. Emptiness feeds that. The message of this song is eternal and it is true and whether they come here to diss her or not, truth has a way of overcoming hatred and emptiness. Leann continues because of her fans and because of true gratitude to God for her gift. True gratitude and loyalty come from love and love is what these haters most crave. Leann is trusting God to take her message and find a way to get into their hearts. Amen, Baby Girl. Amen.
To claim kids will benefit from this because proceeds from the video go to charity is laughable. Nobody buys the video. How about donating the "revenue" not the "proceeds" from the song and the album. That's "Giving". Otherwise it's just more taking, and she's taken more than her share.
