I found it interesting that a lot of people were insinuating that LeAnn wasn't very sincere in this song and even went as far as to say that she shouldn't smile because of the content of the song. Recently, I read an interview of LeAnn's where she talked about the video and song. She stated that through her work with troubled teen and homeless individuals in general, they echoed the same message over and over. That message stated that the most insulting thing people can do is avoid looking them in the eye. They are people just as the rest of us; people with needs, just a different sort of need. So think about that before you throw out stones. Follow the example set here. Again, tremendous song.
