This video brought a tear to my eye the first time i heard it and every time after that. I have a brother that currently serves in the Army and has served two tours overseas, one in Iraq and the other in Afghanistan. I thank God that each time he went he came back home. God Bless Our Troops!

This song is amazing. Crazy how it gets "in there" and sqeezes your heart. Lost my nephew 2010 , video could be about him, its that close. Makes me cry, and smile. Puts your feelings out there when you have no words to do it. Thank God for songs like this and the special peeps that sing them !! Pam

I cannot begin to explain what this song means to me and the memories I see when I hear it. I still own the Dodge Dakota my military spouse and I bought and drove for quite awhile before he died. Since he died in 2002 , I drive HIS truck, and for a long time it was where I felt the best after he was gone, and still where I feel the closest to him when I am alone in MY truck. Now I have a car that was bought by my late Uncle and his widow and feel the same for it but it is an honor and a comfort to be riding with Sgt Farve (PVT Malone) and CPO Ledford wherever I go. Painful some, but an HONOR.
wow this song just makes me cry. what great lyrics. i just wish that someone that had actually lost a member of family in service would have got it as opposed to lee brice who cut it just because he thought it would get song of the year. the video is horrible - he needs a wardrobe change to something more respectful than a backwards baseball hat just cause he thinks he is hot. and all the fake emotion is terrible. his brother did a great job, just need lee brice out of the video. he is too fake and obviously trying too hard in his parts.
