Chatting Up
Sounds like it was a great show. I have to say though, I have not watched any Country Music awards show in years. I used to make deals with my mom when I was little to stay up and watch the whole show, especially when Conway Twitty was on the show. But I stopped watching a while back because I think that the awards are not based on an artists work but their popularity with the "committee" who chooses the winner. The last time I watched Rascal Flatts had the album that sold the most in that year but Carrie Underwood, who I love, won album of the year? How is that possible? If Rascall Flatts out sold everyone and I want to say they set new records that year, how did someone else win the award? So I just figured that the awards had nothing to do with the artists performance or abilities but high school popularity thinking mentality with the committee. So have not watched an awards show since then but it sounds like it was a good show anyway. Oh well.
