Dear Home Extreme Make Over, Hello my name is April Rogers and my family and I are writting cause we need your help. We have had alot of bad luck in our lives and we are trying to come back from it. Let me begin by telling you our story. Back in 2007 my sister and I were both pregnant and only 3 months apart. She was pregnant for her 3rd child and I was pregnant for my 1st. On June 19, 2007 my sister was delivering her baby boy at 5 1/2 months. I was there helping her throught her rough time not knowing I would be dealing with something simler to it. For my husband and I things were starting to look up we had just got a new house our first home. We were happy and was able to move in on Sept. 8, 2007. Well oearly morning on Sept. 13, 2007 i was being rushed the hospital only to be stent to a bigger hospital to find out that i had to deliver my baby or we would both loose our lives. I delivered my son at 27 weeks he weighed 1pound 7oz. we found out his esovgius was not connected and his lungs were premature. But he was to little to have surgery done. They shipped my son back and forth between hospitals and from this I had to live in a Ronald McDonald house. Kaylib was 4 months old and doing great so the doctors decided to do the surgery. The sugery went well I stayed there with him till about 12am when I decided to head back to the house and get some sleep. Well about 45 miutes later the hospital was calling me saying they were reseitating him. i had rushed back to the hospital only to walk in on something I still to this day have nightmares about. No mother should have to see what I seen that night. Its took about 1/2 an hour to get him back and being gone so long the doctors said that his brain was turning liquid and his head was swellen. They gave us the choice to let him go but we decided to wait hoping he would get better. We waited for 2 weeks before we told them to take his off life support. As time went on we were able to have another child but he has lots of alergies and has asmia. We are living at my mom and dads house with my sister and her family. Its a 3 bedroom house with a family of 10 living in it and its falling apart. My family are very strong and we are always there for each other. Yes it does get crazy here but that is what family's are like we love each other and will always be there for each other. We get stronger everyday from what has happen in the past. My mom and dad also has a property they are willing to donate to Home extram make over. God Bless all of you for helping all the familys in the past and future. Thank you The Ronk Family
