REBA, i love your song's it is letting woman know , we can do it on our own. We are Stronger than we think. And we won't " BE ALONE " , just because we at not married at certain people's idea of when you get married. I celebrate 17 yrs. on Oct.30th., but marriage is tough you alway's have to work on it. And it does not help that almost to the day of my 1st. year Married, I was told I had Cancer and after 9-year's and many painful procedure's , I had to have a Complete Hystro. at 35yrs.old. My Husband & my Parent's are my Rock. But we figured we could do it and we knew it would not be easy. That is why I hate when people get so obsorbed with the Wedding Day! It is Important , but it just that ' ONE DAY!! ". My marriage went through the horror of cancer and then to make it worse i had a DVT in my colon ( yes , it is not only your leg's), i lost 1/2 my colon at 39 and a portion of my small intestine's, then to find out I have a very dangerous Blood Dis-Order and my Specialist , does not know how I lived through all my Painful procedure's and Emergancy Surgery's.. This is when you find out how strong your marriage is, and I know mine is . A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU, MY HUSBAND & LAST BUT NEVER LEAST - THE 2-PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ONLY MY GREAT PARENT'S , THEY ARE ALSO MY FRIEND'S - THAT IS VERY RARE! The message in this song can go both ways. It's lyrics can be just as accurate when sung by a baritone/bass voice. Grandma always said that such opinions are like "the pot calling the kettle black".
