CMT Listen Up: Brantley Gilbert
I don't think people get it, if you read an article about brantley he thanks God everyday fellow Georgia Boy jason Aldean made his songs huge and his name huge, a lot of people did not know who Brantley was until Jason sang his songs, Brantley is a writer & a singer, there are a lot of country artists that write songs and other artists sing them like this example or Jamey Johnson wrote Give it Away that George Strait sings & Randy Houser wrote Honky Tonk Badonkadonk that Trace Atkins Sings & thomas Rhett wrote one of Lee Brice's songs, its a respect thing in the country music world and a lot of artists do both writing & singing, doesn't make one suck and the other better, I think Brantley & Jason are both amazing in their own ways!

Brantley Gilbert is my all time favorite singer & he has been since WAY before he was famous.(: I would love to see him in concert one day! he is an amazing singer/songwriter!(:

Ok I have for one seen J Aldean in concert and must say that, Brantley as good as he is can write but J Aldean has way better vocals and show. this is a really good version more like rock, not like rockabilly or southern rock, good none the less. still Jason Aldean hands down

Write the music and leave it to Jason Aldean to sing it, good song but the vocals are not so good.

BG is good, music is great, voice is very mediocre, that's why Aldean has had so much success, putting the necessary vocals into these great songs, glad Brantley is getting a chance still think he's better as a writer though
