This song comfort my six year old niece while her dad was in Afghanistan and brought hope that her dad would come home safe. Little did she know that her dad was safer in Afghanistan than in his own hometown. "The 27-year-old deputy was shot and killed in the line of duty at a Pahrump casino, just 27 days after returning from serving in Afghanistan." Sad, but true.

Great song. God Bless all our troups in all branchs of the service, if not for them we would not have the freedom in our country today. There would be some other countries that do not have the freedoms they have if not for our troups either, let us never forget.
this is a good song. this reminds me of my aunt angela. she is either a 1st or 2nd leutient in the Marines and she loves this song. GOD BLESS THE TROOPS OVERSEAS WHERE EVER THEY ARE.
