i love this song for so many reason it great.
This song gets to me every time. I think that Trace Adkins is the bomb , and he should be presenting some kind of award. I don't think he gets the acknowledgement that he should he just deserves. Keep up with the faith inspiring words that you bring to us.

This song is from the album, "X" from 2008.This song was never released to radio as a single. 4 singles were released from this album. None of those singles half as good as this song. But I love songs that feel like emotional exhaustion. The ones where you can hear the emotional effort to keep breathing in the words. Kris Kristofferson wrote songs like that. I miss the days when a singer could release the best songs on the album and not have to concentrate on what singles will promote concert ticket sales. Technology may have ruined the music business.

Just wanted to say this was just Trace and the piano player. for the CD a mandolin was added. gives me chills each time I hear it! Why does Trace never get a nomination for male vocalist? Why?

I love this song!!!! My daughter and I have wore out the CD and we know every word by heart. By far one of Trace Adkins best songs. This song should be on the radio for everyone to hear.
