I too am of the same faith and there is nothing in our faith about covering our hair men or women, I would however be interested in knowing where you are getting your information from though. I will say the change in those young adults lives in the short amount of time they spent with the Cooper family speaks for itself on whether they are horrible or wonderful parents or people, I know they are a wonderful family and what an amazing thing they were able to do for these young adults.

I am of the same faith as the Cooper family and I know them personally. They are probably one of the best people I know. Having a "plummers crack" I believe should be avoided. No one wants to see that. A child does need to be disciplined and he gave her the CHOICE that she was either going to sleep outside or she was going to help them work. If she was really stubborn and decided to not work then she would have to face her consequence. The Coopers are probably the best people to raise children.
I Had to find this, after viewing this on TV. The one BIG thing that was WRONG about this episode was this. When the girls pants went down to show butt, Dress code in this family I do understand, but some times "plummers crack" does happen, and to tell a CHILD, what was she like 15? that she would be sleeping out side... thats abuse. His shirt its way TOO baggy, just to prove a point? He looks like to be a L, and hes wearing a XXL, come on. She should have took up the offer, and when he put her out side at NIGHT, with just a sleeping bag, then she could have turned to the camera person, ask for the phone, and called the police. Going to bed without dinner works, and Im happy some families use that still, but the sleep out side thing makes this guy Unfit to even have kids. I hope he see this and realizes what a trashy uncaring thing that is. Take away TV time, video game time, phone time, but dont through out a kid in the middle of winter at night. the guy seem alittle bit smart, but not enough to have kids.... sorry. Stuff like wise have ILL effect on chilren and if this guy or anyone else cant understand that, dont have kids. IF the dress code was because of thier faith, well its also states... women has to hide their hair aswell as the flesh, cant have it just one way if you want to be "overly stricted!"
