Cassadee Pope's 'Frame by Frame' Bows as Top Album

Thomas Rhett Claims Prime Song Slot With "It Goes Like This"

Third season The Voice winner Cassadee Pope debuts at the top of Billboard's country albums chart this week with her Frame by Frame collection. It claims that eminence by having sold 43,198 copies, by Nielsen SoundScan's count, its first seven days out.

Crowning the country airplay singles chart is Thomas Rhett 's "It Goes Like This," which vaults from fourth to first place to become the week's most-played song.

Three other albums make their initial appearance: Kenny Rogers' You Can't Make Old Friends (arriving at No. 9), Joey & Rory's Made to Last (No. 44) and Lindi Ortega's Tin Star (No. 56).

There are only two new songs to report: Dan & Shay's "19 You & Me" (No. 55) and Chris Janson's "Cut Me Some Slack" (No. 60).

Keep an eye on Florida Georgia Line's "Stay," which rockets from No. 44 to No. 30 this week in just its fifth week on the chart.

That other fast-rising song we've been monitoring -- Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert's "We Were Us" -- is still on a roll, escalating this week from No. 13 to No. 10.

Completing the Top 5 albums gallery, in descending order, are Luke Bryan's Crash My Party (last week's No. 1), Joe Nichols' Crickets, Florida Georgia Line's Here's to the Good Times and Justin Moore's Off the Beaten Path.

The No. 2 through No. 5 songs are Billy Currington's "Hey Girl" (last week's No. 1), Bryan's "That's My Kinda Night," Jason Aldean's "Night Train" and Tim McGraw's "Southern Girl."

Aspiring songwriters take note: In addition to the two "night" songs alluded to in the preceding paragraph, we noticed six more nocturnal-themed songs on this week's chart. Are you ready?

The Eli Young Band's "Drunk Last Night" (No. 18), Eric Paslay's "Friday Night" (No. 21), Jon Pardi's "Up All Night" (No. 28), Scotty McCreery's "See You Tonight" (No. 32), Randy Houser's "Goodnight Kiss" (No. 37) and Jerrod Niemann's "Drink to That All Night" (No. 45).

Seems like the night has a thousand ayes.
