Texas country superstar Wade Bowen teamed with contemporary country hit writer Casey Beathard for his single "Lovin' Not Leavin'," and CMT is debuting the picturesque music video. The scenery was inspired by driving home from a string of the Northwest and waking up in a small Colorado town to discover the serene backdrop.

"(It was) so beautiful," Bowen said. "My director, Nick Livingston, said this is the shot right here! So we started filming, and I love how it turned out!"

Livingston produced and directed the music video, and Bowen produced the song in addition to co-writing it.

Bowen hopes the music video illustrates how hard it is to be in love with a touring musician and how it takes a "certain kind of woman" to put up with it.

"It takes someone special to make us wanna settle down," he said. "I've always said there's no way I could do it if the roles were reversed! I'm glad my wife is in this video for the first time. She deserves it!"

He said the video shows the calm side of the song and was easy to film.

"I think this video shows a calm side of the song," he said. "I think in all of my videos, I do some acting in a way, but with this one, it just felt comfortable and easy to film us in a way that showed a side of me people don't always get to see. This business is a rat race, and I'm glad they are seeing this side!"

Bowen believes Livingston "nailed" the video and captured exactly what they were going for and more.

"He has incredible vision, and I'm so excited for people to see this!!" said the singer. "I hope viewers understand from this video and this song that this is a crazy dream we chase."
