Brad Paisley, the Grascals Remake Buck Owens Classic
Brad Paisley has teamed with a Grammy-nominated bluegrass band, the Grascals, to remake Buck Owens' country classic, "I've Got a Tiger by the Tail." The song will be featured on the bluegrass group's upcoming release, The Grascals & Friends -- Country Classics With a Bluegrass Spin, available exclusively at Cracker Barrel on Jan. 10. Other guest artists include Dierks Bentley on "Folsom Prison Blues," Charlie Daniels on "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," Tom T. Hall on "The Year That Clayton Delaney Died," Joe Nichols on "Mr. Bojangles," the Oak Ridge Boys on "Leavin' Louisiana in the Broad Daylight," Dolly Parton on "The Pain of Loving You" and Darryl Worley on "White Lightning." In addition, the group re-recorded Mel McDaniel's "Louisiana Saturday Night," a Hank Williams Jr. medley, an instrumental titled "Cracker Barrel Swing" and two versions of a new song, "I Am Strong." The Grascals won the International Bluegrass Music International (IBMA) entertainer of the year award in 2006 and 2007.
