Drummer Jeff Bryant has left hit country group Ricochet. Bryant is battling carpal tunnel syndrome, which affects the wrists and forearms, and requires surgery. The drummer has been replaced by Tim Chewning, who has worked with John Michael Montgomery, Kathy Mattea and others. Chewning made his debut as Ricochet's newest member during an August 11th show in Colorado. The group's third album for Columbia Records is due out this fall.
