Have you ever searched for a vacation spot and found a place that looks really nice and affordable -- and then realized the price you thought was for an entire week is actually for just one night? Well, that's what happened to me when I saw that Nicole Kidman was planning to rent her New York City apartment. I thought the $45,000 price tag was for a year of living in this glamorous West Village three-bedroom. But that's what it costs each month. So it's more like $540,000 a year. But, still, if you've got that kind of money, it would be worth it for views of the Hudson River. And the deep Boffi soaking tub alone is worth about $12,000. The way it's furnished right now, with a grand piano by the floor-to-ceiling windows, makes me think her husband, Keith Urban, probably played a lot of his piano songs right there. Like "Tonight I Wanna Cry" or maybe even his cover of the Violent Femmes' "Blister in the Sun." The realtor calls this a home "where steel, glass, stone and wood mingle to stunning effect, yielding an experience that is at once striking and serene." I wonder what kind of response he'd get if he just said "Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman might've lived here at one time."
