Zach Bryan Teases New Episode Of "The Belting Bronco" With Chilling Duet Featuring Charles Wesley Godwin

Zach Bryan wraps the American Heartbreak Tour and scores first-ever GRAMMY nomination: "I'm truly thankful and didn't deserve a sold-out tour or to be successful at all."

Zach Bryan's fan-favorite YouTube series "The Belting Bronco" is officially back.

The Navy-veteran turned country sensation jumped on Twitter early Wednesday (Dec 14) morning to release a trailer for the upcoming episode featuring good friend and collaborator, Charles Wesley Godwin

The digital show takes country music fans behind the scenes, as Bryan performs smash hits from the back of his old-school Ford Bronco with notable names in the industry. The "Happy Instead" singer previously invited Slade Coulter, Tyler Childers, Kat Hasty, Abby Peyton, and more to drive through the red dirt of Oklahoma.

"belting bronco is back," he wrote on social media.

The short clip features Bryan and Godwin delivering their haunting collaboration "Jamie," a spooky single from the critically acclaimed EP "Summertime Blues." The stream-worthy collection was released just weeks after Bryan dropped his 34-song record "American Heartbreak."

While tucked away in the back of Bryan's truck, Godwin kicks off the country track with his ear-grabbing grit destined to mesmerize listeners. Bryan blends his folk-like vocals nonchalantly, creating a chill-provoking harmony that can make hairs naturally stand up.

The heart-wrenching melody is about a troubled man grieving lost love. The heavy and liquor-soaked storyline follows the protagonist chasing the bottom of a bottle and returning to a graveyard where his ex-partner is buried. The melancholy melody ends with the distressed man in a complex situation with the law.

"The flashin' red and blue in a cracked rear viеw | He remembеrs a smile he once owned | But he ain't gonna stop for any cop | From here to damn near Wichita County," sings Godwin. "Well I'll go tonight boys, I don't mean no harm |  I just miss my lovin' lady and layin' in her arms | I'll go tonight boys, I don't mean no harm | I just miss my lovin' lady and layin' in her arms," Bryan adds.

The preview also captures Bryan's impressive band playing the Eddie Spear-produced song with traditional country instruments, such as the pedal steel and acoustic guitar on a flatbed truck through a desert. The state-of-the-art teaser instantly made waves and received positive praise.

"Pretty sure this just took all the depression from my soul for a little while & for that I'm grateful," said a fan. "This is so damn awesome," shared a listener. "Zach, are you getting us all a Christmas gift, or is the live album more of a new year's thing?" asked another.

As many country music enthusiasts are pleased to have a new "Belting Bronco" episode soon, others are eager to get their hands on Bryan's highly anticipated live album. In late May, the record-breaking artist confirmed that he would release a concert album  from Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado.

While out on his nationwide headlining tour, Bryan also declared that a new full-length collection would arrive in February. The promising musician has not announced if the forthcoming album will be the live project or another installment, but assured that it will include the unreleased track "Deep Satin."

The hitmaker recently wrapped his American Heartbreak run, a rowdy tour that displayed his show-stopping stage presence and bright future in country music. The must-watch artist has concluded 2022 with a bang with his first-ever GRAMMY nomination. "Something in the Orange" is currently in the running for "Best Country Solo Performance." Hitmakers Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, and Willie Nelson are also nominated for the prestigious accoladed.

The 64th GRAMMY Awards will return to Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, Feb. 5, and will air live on CBS.
