Pics: Maddie & Tae's Maddie Marlow Font Welcomes First Child
Maddie Marlow Font is a mommy!
The Maddie & Tae singer and her husband, Jonah Font, welcomed their first child – a son – on Saturday.
Marlow posted on Instagram Monday that Forrest Henry Font was born at 4:03 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs and 10 oz.
It wasn't an easy delivery, she shared.
"After 37 hard hours of labor, finally getting to push, and ending up having an emergency c-section and being put under, Forrest Henry Font made his debut. 🤍" she wrote. "Thank you to our incredible medical team at St Thomas Midtown for taking incredible care of us and making a really scary experience as calm and comfortable as possible for our little family."
Then, the singer took a moment to share her love for her new son.
"Forrest is everything Jonah and I could've ever dreamed of, and we'd go through it all over again for him 🥹" she wrote. "Thank you Lord for the gift of this perfect boy and this magical time. We are so in love 🤍"
Marlow's duet partner, Taylor Kerr, shared her excitement on Marlow's Instagram page.
"PERFECT ANGEL!!!! I love him so much! Way to go, mom and dad!" Kerr wrote.
Jana Kramer, who is pregnant with her third child, chimed in: "Awwwwwwwww congrats mommmmma."
And Jessie James Decker, who is expecting her fourth baby, added: "Beautiful boy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
Marlow and Font wed in 2019, and Marlow revealed she was pregnant in April.
"Jonah & I are over the moon and feel so blessed we get to be this little man's parents," she said when she revealed her pregnancy.
Baby Forrest is Maddie & Tae's second baby as Kerr traumatically delivered her daughter, Leighton, months early at just 28 weeks gestation. Kerr started experiencing severe pregnancy complications in December of 2021, and Leighton was born on January 17, 2022.
"I know she's going to be fine," Tae said in the video, which was shot in the moment. "I'm so proud of her already, and I hope she's proud of me doing everything I can to take care of her and keep her safe. I'm feeling like a mom already. I love it, and it's terrifying. This is not what I expected my pregnancy to look like."
Leighton is now a healthy 1-and-a-half-year-old who, with the arrival of Forrest, has a new best friend.
