The new two-hour CMT feature film, Dale, will make its TV debut on Sept. 4 on CMT, with encore performances Sept. 5-6. A DVD of the film will be available early next year. Produced by NASCAR Images and CMT Films, Dale is the only authorized film about the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. Narrated by Paul Newman, it includes archival race footage, rare outtakes, never-before-seen family home videos and interviews with his closest friends and family, toughest competitors and most avid fans. Dale was produced with the support and endorsement of Richard Childress Racing, plus the Earnhardt family, corporation and team.
