Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott are among the newly-announced performers who will take part in the eighth annual ACM Honors ceremony taking place Sept. 9 in Nashville.

Held at the Ryman Auditorium, the ceremony celebrates the honorees and winners of off-camera categories from the 49th annual ACM Awards, which were held in April in Las Vegas.

Other performers for the ACM Honors include Hunter Hayes, Kacey Musgraves, Lee Ann Womack, Dwight Yoakam, Will Hoge, Jack Ingram, the Oak Ridge Boys and Shawn Camp, as well as Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio from the ABC series Nashville.

Appearing as presenters are Kenny Chesney, Justin Moore, Thomas Rhett , Brenda Lee, the Swon Brothers and more.

As previously reported, Jake Owen will host the event, while Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts will accept the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award for "unprecedented, unique and outstanding individual achievement in country music."

Ronnie Milsap and Toby Keith will receive the Career Achievement Award, while Kris Kristofferson, Dean Dillon, the late Buck Owens and the late Jack Clement will be presented with the Poet's Award, which honors the lifetime achievements of songwriters.

Studio Recording Awards will go to bassist Michael Rhodes, drummer Shannon Forrest, guitarist Rob McNelley, keyboardist Charlie Judge, multi-instrumentalist Bryan Sutton, steel guitarist Paul Franklin, audio engineer Justin Niebank and producer Dann Huff. Shane McAnally will be presented the songwriter of the year trophy.

During the televised portion of the ACM Awards in April, Merle Haggard was presented with the Crystal Milestone Award for his 50 years in country music.
