WATCH: Miranda Lambert Talks Las Vegas Residency and Setting Her Arms on Fire

Miranda Lambert calls herself a "walking firework" in "Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency"

Miranda Lambert is having a blast headlining her Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, so much so that she's coming back for round two. Tickets for the second installment of her "Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency" at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino go on sale this week. In the meantime, Lambert is frolicking through Sin City with her husband, Brendan, and sharing her favorite moments of her Las Vegas shows.

The first thing that came to mind, Lambert said on Instagram, was riding the elevator to the stage, which she had never before. A video clip shows the blinding light and the crowd's roar as Lambert rises into view of the audience.

Her second favorite moment, she said, is when she sings "Carousel."

"I love that song," Lambert said. "It's so emotional. I love the content behind it, and it's beautiful."

An enormous carousel is behind Lambert as she sings lyrics including: "Every show must end, every circus leaves town|You don't know the magic's gone until the lights go down."

On the other end of the spectrum, Lambert said her third favorite moment of the night is "probably when I light my arms on fire."

"That's really fun," she said, "like a walking firework."

Lambert doesn't really light her arms on fire. She wears a fringed jacket that shoots parks from the sleeves during "Kerosene."

The Texas native is at least 11 shows into her residency at this point. The event was designed exclusively for Zappos Theater and is promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment. The evening, which consists of more than 20 songs, allows fans to get up close and personal with Lambert and her fiery, sassy personality and unparalleled storytelling.

Sixteen new shows comprise leg two of "Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency." The shows are set for July, November and December of 2023 and the ticket presale for Lambert's fanclub members starts today. Tickets for the new shows go on sale to the public Friday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. PT.
