Cirque du Soleil Is Going Country In 2024

Cirque du Soleil has teamed with Universal Music Group Nashville for a new touring show that will launch in Nashville in July.

The famous theatric acrobatics show Cirque du Soleil is picking up a twang in 2024.

Cirque du Soleil, which is known for combining acrobatics with music, has teamed with Universal Music Group Nashville for a new touring show that will launch in July in Music City. The new show will showcase the high-flying routines set to songs from country legends and contemporary stars.

"Our collaboration with Universal Music Group Nashville presents an exciting opportunity for us to expand our creative horizons and reach new audiences as we delve into the vibrant world of country music entertainment," said Stéphane Lefebvre, President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil.

While which artists will be showcased during the event hasn't been announced, singers signed to Universal Music Group Nashville include George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Mickey Guyton, Brothers Osborne, Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban.

Cutline: Cirque du Soleil characters were seen in Nashville, taking part in an exciting stunt to mark the important announcement in the city.

The show is described as an ode to country music's heritage with themes of love, resilience and breathtaking, powerful performances.

The all-ages show will premiere at Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center in July, and tickets go on sale December 6.
