CMT Premiere: Rissi Palmer and Miko Marks Take Fans to the UK in New Video "Still Here"

Rissi Palmer: "This is a song about not just surviving the odds but overcoming and thriving on the other side."

Rissi Palmer and Miko Marks take country music fans to the Long Road Festival in Leicestershire, England, during the video for their new song "Still Here."

Palmer hosted the festival's first Color Me Country stage takeover there last year and took Marks, Charly Lowry, Camille Parker, Valerie Ponzio and Madeline Edwards with her. She said she and her team worked on creating the perfect experience for months and called the day "a triumph."

She promises fans can "see it in the joy on everyone's faces" when they watch the video.

Palmer wrote "Still Here" alongside Marks, Deanna Walker, Justin Phipps and Steve Wyreman. Phipps and Wyreman produced the song, and Matt Durning directed the music video.

"This is a song about not just surviving the odds but overcoming and thriving on the other side," she said. "The energy and spirit of this song is captured in this video. It's in the palpable joy on everyone's faces, the dancing in the crowd, the performance."

Palmer said she smiled the entire time.

"I hope that (viewers) feel a small piece of the magic that was present in that day," she said. "I was so busy hosting, performing, and running around on that day that I didn't really get to take in the moment. This was my opportunity to do so."
