The opening number at Craig Wiseman's Ryman Auditorium show on Tuesday (June 3) began with the words "our Father." Talk about setting the stage for some spirited country music.

Wiseman's wife, Rev. KK Wiseman, joined her hit-songwriting husband on the stage at the Ryman, where they held hands and led the audience in prayer. And just as country fans sing along to every word of the songs, they prayed along to every word of the prayer. Considering that the Ryman which opened in 1892 as the Union Gospel Tabernacle, it was extremely appropriate.

So it made sense that Wiseman's Stars for Second Harvest show would feature Florida Georgia Line, who got their start leading worship music in church. And Wiseman was almost moved to tears when he brought Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard out onstage.

"Even with their crazy life, they took time to do this. I'm almost in tears, and so proud to say this next sentence," he said, "Ladies and gentlemen, Florida Georgia Line."

After opening with the crowd-pleaser "Round Here," they rolled into "Get Your Shine On" and "Stay."

The visit to the Ryman was just one of the appearances on the duo's schedule this week. They also performed Wednesday at the 2014 CMT Music Awards and will take the stage Saturday during the CMA Music Festival's nightly concert series. Also appearing are Sara Evans, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban and Chris Young.

"It's amazing to come back here because you get to look back at where you were last year," Hubbard told the sold-out crowd." "You get to kind of reminisce over what all happened in just one year. And, man, to be honest, for us it's been absolutely insane. And we have you guys to thank for it.

"And thanks to you guys, this next song describes our life perfectly," he added as they kicked off a cover of Alabama's No. 1 hit from 1992, "I'm in a Hurry (And Don't Know Why)."

The Stars for Second Harvest show also featured performances by Tyler Farr, David Lee Murphy and songwriter Luke Laird.

Florida Georgia Line closed with their debut hit "Cruise" after making sure the fans knew there is no better place to listen to country music than the Ryman.

"You know you're in Nashville when it all sounds this beautiful," Hubbard said.
