Lainey Wilson, Lauren Alaina and Madeline Edwards Spark Cheeky Country Trend

Lainey Wilson to Lauren Alaina: "The biggest peach I've ever seen. I can't see mine cause it's behind my back πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜"

2023 is shaping up to be a peachy year in country music.

Lainey Wilson and her backside went viral at the end of 2022, prompting Wilson to post an Instagram reel explaining that she can't "even scroll on TikTok on my 'For You' page without seeing my fat butt on everything."

Wilson said she was fine with whatever "brings people in."

"But I'm just letting y'all know, go check out my record, Bell Bottom Country," she wrote. "Happy to have ya either way. However you found me, I'm happy. I'm happy you're here!"

Then she added: "Y'all see what I did with Bell Bottom Country? See what I did? We didn't even plan that, but, you know what? The Lord has a way of working things out."

The cheeky trend rolled into the New Year.Β

Wilson tweeted: "This year's resolution is going to be to maintain my big ass so more people can kiss it" πŸ˜‚ love y'all. Happy new year❣️"

Lauren Alaina posted a video showing off her well-rounded assets and tagged Wilson.

"Hey, @laineywilsonmusic Where'd ya get that license? I'm trying to get one, BUTT I'm not sure where. Can I borrow yours? πŸ‘," she wrote.Β

Wilson commented back, saying: "The biggest peach I've ever seen. I can't see mine cause it's behind my back πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜"

CMT Next Women of Country member Madeline Edwards tweeted that she was with Wilson "on this one."

"Big asses are on the move," she quipped. Edwards' debut album "Crashlanded" was released in November.

On Instagram, Edwards said: "Wishing everyone their dream donk in the new yearπŸ‘πŸͺ©πŸ‘"

Wilson's fans are even getting in on the game. She shared a video Tuesday of one of her fans showing off her curves with the caption: "Y'all don't play with me. I'm the closest your gunna get to that Lainey Wilson dump truck."

Wilson posted a side-by-side video. Opened mouthed at the similarities in their derrieres, she declared: "We definitely kin."

"Mama and daddy didn't tell me I had another sister," she said.Β

Wilson released her sophomore album "Bell Bottom Country" last year. The album is home to her hit "Heart Like a Truck." 2022 was a star-making year for Wilson. She made her acting debut on "Yellowstone," had a multi-week No. 1 hit "Never Say Never" with Cole Swindell and played with artists including Luke Combs and Jon Pardi. She was named CMA's 2022 Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year, ACM's 2022 New Female Artist of the Year and earned the title of CMT's 2022 "Breakout Artist of the Year."Β
