Twain, Chesney Among Top Ticket Sellers

Shania Twain and Kenny Chesney are among the most popular concert draws in the first half of 2004, according to Pollstar magazine. Ranking No. 6, Twain grossed $27.6 million, followed immediately by Chesney, at $27 million. The Alan Jackson- Martina McBride package grossed $24.9 million, rounding out the Top 10. Prince tops the list, with a $45.7 million gross. With the exception of Celine Dion, country artists also had the lowest average ticket prices, outpaced by pop stars such as Bette Midler, Madonna and Rod Stewart.
