Blake Shelton’s well-known pet turkey, Turkey, died from a heat stroke on Tuesday (June 24). Shelton often joked about his pet, telling CMT.com in February, “I went outside one day and I had a bunch of table scraps laying around the kitchen after Thanksgiving, and I threw them out in the yard. And I looked out the window and I saw my pet turkey actually eating some turkey! I got a big kick out of that.” Turkey was buried at Shelton’s home near Centerville, Tenn. 06/27/03
