Country's 2020 Grammy Nominees Revealed

Show Set for Jan. 26 in Los Angeles

Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, and Tanya Tucker have been nominated for Country Song of the Year.

Tanya Tucker's "Bring My Flowers Now" is also in the category of overall Song of the Year as well as Best Country Solo Performance, and While I'm Livin' is up for Best Country Album. Tucker has received 10 career nominations before this year, but never won a Grammy. These are her first Grammy nominations in 16 years.

Lady Gaga's "Always Remember Us This Way" is also up for Song of the Year. She wrote the song from A Star Is Born with Natalie Hemby, Hillary Lindsey and Lori McKenna, who have had major country songwriting success. Another song from that film, "I'll Never Love Again," is in the category of Best Song Written for Visual Media. Those songwriters are Natalie Hemby, Lady Gaga, Hillary Lindsey and Aaron Raitiere. "Girl In The Movies," written by Dolly Parton and Linda Perry for Dumplin' is also in the visual media category, where it's joined by Randy Newman's "The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy," which Chris Stapleton sang in Toy Story 4.

Among multiple nomineees, Dan + Shay's "Speechless" is also included in the category for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Ashley McBryde's "Girl Goin' Nowhere" in the Best Country Solo Performance category. Eric Church's Desperate Man lands on the Best Country Album ballot. Vince Gill, who has 21 career Grammy Awards, is in the category of Best American Roots Song.

Other country nominees include Brooks & Dunn with Luke Combs, Brothers Osborne, Tyler Childers, Little Big Town, Reba McEntire, Maren Morris featuring Brandi Carlile, Willie Nelson, Pistol Annies, Thomas Rhett, and Blake Shelton.

Country artists were omitted from the Best New Artist, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year categories. All five nominees in the Best Pop Solo Performance are women: Beyoncé, Billie Eilih, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, and Taylor Swift.

The Recording Academy revealed the earliest nominations live from Studio 43 at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. The Grammys will air live on Jan. 26, 2020, on CBS from Los Angeles' Staples Center.
