Faith Hill, Martina McBride Raise More Than $225,000 for Nashville Babies
Faith Hill and Martina McBride's first performance together raised more than $225,000 for Nashville babies in need of intensive care. Hill and McBride shared the stage for the Rock the Cradle event at the Loveless Barn near Nashville on Tuesday night (Oct. 26) to raise money for babies born at Baptist Hospital who need services provided by the Beaman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The event also included a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction and performances by comedian Kevin King and songwriters Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman. Each year, Baptist Hospital delivers more than 7,000 babies. Approximately 10 percent of these babies will need several days or even months of intensive care provided in the neonatal intensive care unit.
