Thanks in large part to the success of his film biography, Walk the Line, Johnny Cash is nominated in three categories in an awards program sponsored by Mojo, the British music magazine. Nominations for the Mojo Honours List place Cash, Van Morrison and Neil Young in the competition for the Icon Award alongside David Bowie and longtime British favorite Scott Walker. The boxed set, Johnny Cash -- The Legend, is nominated for catalog release of the year, a category that also features Talking Heads. Cash is also nominated for the Inspiration Award with the Buzzcocks, Sparks, Paul Weller and the Fall. The awards ceremony takes place on June 5 near London.
