Hank Williams III Does the Opry at Grandfather's Old Haunt
Standing on the same stage where his grandfather once performed on the Grand Ole Opry, Hank Williams III sings his brand of retro country at the historic Ryman Auditorium tonight on Grand Ole Opry Live (8-9 p.m. ET/PT). Some Opry members and Ryman Auditorium employees swear they've seen Hank Sr.'s ghost at the beloved former home of the Opry. Williams III favors his grandfather in looks and shares his bent towards traditional country. Other artists joining the bill tonight include John Conlee, The Derailers, Holly Dunn, Del Reeves, Terri Clark and Jim & Jesse. The Opry's return engagement to the "mother church" of country music continues through February.
