CMT Will Air 'Reba' and 'Yes, Dear' This Fall
The long-running, family-oriented sitcoms Reba and Yes, Dear will make their way to CMT this fall. Syndicated episodes of both series will air weekdays beginning Aug. 1.
Reba will kick off primetime weeknights on CMT from 7-9 p.m. ET. Starring country music powerhouse Reba McEntire, the series ran for six successful seasons, totaling 127 episodes. Yes, Dear will air weeknights from 5-7 p.m. ET.
Also, the network will air seven straight hours of Reba in a fan-voted marathon on Aug. 18. Fans can vote on CMT's Facebook page to pick their favorite episodes of the sitcom.
Reba, which aired on The WB and later The CW from 2001 to 2007, follows Reba Hart (McEntire) as she tackles parenthood and other obstacles along the way. After her dentist husband of 20 years, Brock (Christopher Rich), leaves her for his dental hygienist, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), Reba's seemingly perfect world is turned upside down.
Yes, Dear is about two young couples and their differing views on parenting and life. Greg (Anthony Clark) and Kim Warner (Jean Louisa Kelly) struggle on a daily basis to become perfect at the job, while Kim's sister and brother-in-law, Christine (Liza Snyder) and Jimmy Hughes (Mike O'Malley), take a more laid-back approach to all facets of life and parenting. Yes, Dear originally aired on CBS from 2000 to 2006.
