CMT Premiere: Kalsey Kulyk Shares There "Ain't Enough Whiskey" To Fix The Ex In Relatable New Video

Kalsey Kulyk: "I'm pretty sure almost everyone has been in a situation like the video, which makes the song more relatable."

Whiskey might be able to fix many things, but it can't cure the broken relationship in Kalsey Kulyk's song and new video "Ain't Enough Whiskey."

Kulyk wrote the song alongside Troy Johnson and Scott Lindsay writers. Bart McKay produced, and Rhinestone Republic directed the video that shows Kulyk in a bar with a self-absorbed man and the fed-up woman who is over him.

"I think this video brings the song to life because it showcases exactly what the song is talking about," Kulyk said. "From the vain ex to the aint-taking-no-crap-moved-on girlfriend, I'm pretty sure almost everyone has been in a situation like the video, which makes the song more relatable."

When she filmed the video, they did so when the bar was closed, which meant they had to wrangle people to make the venue look full for her performance scene. The situation turned the video shoot into a family affair.

"We got everyone from my 15-month-old son to my parents to friends of my sister-in-law," Kulyk said. "It made me feel very blessed to have such a great support system around me. It also made me aware that my son is a night owl like me and will love life on the road touring with his momma."

The singer said she was "so excited" when she saw the final edit of the video and that this is her favorite music video of her career.

"It shows my personality the most!" she said. "I was a part of the whole process, so it was awesome to see it turn out even better than I envisioned in my mind."

Kulyk just hopes fans love the video as much as she does and that it helps them fall in love with the song.

"I want people to be able to crank this song in their car, the bar, in their headphones and dance and sing along," she said.
