2023 CMT Music Awards: Finalists for Video of the Year Award Revealed

Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton and more will compete for the night's top honor

The 2023 CMT Music Awards, which will air Sunday on CBS, are less than one week away, and the field of nominees is narrowing.

CMT revealed today the Top 6 music videos that will compete for the night's top honor of Video of the Year.

The finalists are:

Blake Shelton - "No Body"

Carrie Underwood - "Hate My Heart"

Cody Johnson - "Human"

HARDY feat. Lainey Wilson - "wait in the truck"

Kane Brown & Katelyn Brown - "Thank God"

Morgan Wallen - "You Proof"

Country music fans can still vote for their favorites at vote.cmt.com.

With four nods, Lainey Wilson is the leading nominee at the 2023 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, which will broadcast live from Austin, Texas' Moody Center on 8 p.m. (ET) Sunday on CBS. Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini will host the show. Cody Johnson, Brown and Jelly Roll each have three nominations.

Wilson, Ballerini and Brown (with his wife Katelyn) will perform, along with Shelton, Carly Pearce, Johnson, Keith Urban and Underwood, who was the first performer announced for the award show, a moment that happened in November when Ballerini traveled to Underwood's concert in Texas to ask her in person. A fan-favorite at the CMT Music Awards, Underwood is the winningest artist in CMT Music Awards show history.

Underwood is vying for her fifth consecutive Video of the Year win and 10th in the category.

If Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown win, they will be the first husband and wife duo to pick up the coveted trophy. If Shelton wins, the triumph will mark his second time capturing "Video of the Year." If Cody Johnson, HARDY, Lainey Wilson or Morgan Wallen win, it would be their first in Video of the Year.

Voting ends today (March 27) for nine categories but "Video of the Year" category remains active into show.
